TRANSFORMING TECHNOLOGY VENTURES INTO GROWTH FIRMS
In Venture Inc. students from Sahlgrenska Academy, Chalmers, and School of Business, Economics and Law work with real technology ventures from the regional incubators and science parks. The students work in interdisciplinary groups to address concrete growth challenges facing technology ventures from a technological, legal and business perspective. In particular, a strong focus is put on how to leverage the venture’s intellectual assets and business model from a global perspective.
The project outcomes include an internal and external analysis of the ventures competitive position, which generates key insights and actionable strategic options for commercial growth. Participating ventures benefit from a clearer understanding of potential business threats and opportunities and specific strategies to manage these insights moving forward.
Venture Inc. runs for 10 weeks from October to December.
New projects are identified in March-May.
